On Saturday July 27th, Deadbolt is hosting a Manchester Comic Con Afterparty at their original home  – The Bread Shed!

MCM’s Manchester Comic Con 2019 has a fantastic line up of special guests such as Michael Rooker (Guardians of The Galaxy and The Walking Dead), Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones, Derry Girls, and Rogue One) and Jen Brown (RWBY, Red Vs Blue, Camp Camp and DC Universe Online).

For the Manchester Comic Con Afterparty Deadbolt will be joined by Dungeons & Flagons Table Top Gaming, The Bit Squad Retro Console Zone, Main Events Wrestling Gaming and make up artist If Looks Could Kill.

Deadbolt DJs will be playing a mix of pop punk, alt, emo, metal, hip hop and guilty pleasures.

Deadbolt DJs are opening up for The HU at Manchester Academy

Deadbolt DJs Support The HU at Manchester Academy

Deadbolt DJs Liam Connolly and Tomm Thomas are opening up for Mongolian heavy metal band The HU at Manchester Academy on Wednesday 12th June.

The HU is a band that blends heavy metal and traditional Mongolian throat singing.  Their first two videos “Yuve Yuve Yu” and “Wolf Totem” immediately went viral garnering the band over 18 million views.

During their DJ set, Liam and Tomm will be playing a mix of rock and metal to warm up the crowd before the headlining act.

The HU at Manchester Academy is completely sold out with no tickets available on the door. Doors are at 7.30pm and all ages are welcome. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult over 18 at all times.

Zero Club will be relocating to the famous Manchester venue, The Night & Day Cafe from September 2019. The relaunch at this popular central location will take place on Friday 13 September.

The Night & Day Cafe opened its doors in 1991 and has seen many famous bands grace its stage including Manic Street Preachers, Underoath, Frank Turner, Bloc Party, The Courteeners, Kasabian, The Arctic Monkeys, Elbow and hundreds more huge acts.

Red Cardinal Music Founder and Zero Club DJ Liam Connolly said “The Night & Day has always been about the music since day one. It’s been a staple of the Manchester music scene since the early 90s and has definitely kept its rock and roll vibe intact so moving Zero Club here was a no-brainer.”
